To ask the Minister for the Economy to detail the (i) metrics; and (ii) measurements, her Department applies to track the productivity of the Northern Ireland economy.

Answer:

The metrics against which we are tracking the productivity of the North are set out in the 2024/25 DfE business plan (Delivering the Economic Vision - A three year forward look & 2024/25 Action Plan). The top line measure is ‘Output per hour worked’ with a suite of supporting indicators listed in Annex A of the business plan.
