To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister for an update on the appointment of a Commissioner for Public Appointments.

Answer:

We are pleased to report that the competition to appoint a Commissioner for Public Appointments for NI (CPANI) launched on 10 March. A Commissioner will be appointed as soon as possible, following the conclusion of the appointment process. Officials will conduct an evaluation of the process once complete.
