Question:
To ask the Minister for the Economy to detail the work that has been completed to date by her Department on the development of a targeted business support scheme for the childcare sector.

Answer:

My Department is leading on cross-Departmental work to consider research on the key issues impacting the financial sustainability of childcare providers. Once I have received advice on these issues I will move quickly to provide my advice to the Minister of Education.
