Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities whether the additional £1 million proposed in the 2025/26 budget for pipeline schemes for the Supporting People programme can solely be used to fund new schemes, or can it be used to address currently existing cost pressures in Supporting People projects.

Answer:

The proposed additional allocation of £1.0m will help bring forward new and extended services which align to the 3 year Supporting People Strategy and aim to prevent homelessness.

These additional services will provide more housing support to vulnerable people and provide the opportunity to improve their quality of life and achieve greater independence within this valued Programme.
