Question: To ask the Minister of Justice to detail the number of reported incidents of upskirting in Northern Ireland in each of the last three years.
Answer:
The Department does not hold information on offences reported to the police in its datasets. The recording of information on the number of incidents reported to the police is a matter for the Chief Constable, who is accountable to the Northern Ireland Policing Board. I am committed to respecting the operational independence of the Chief Constable and the role of the Northern Ireland Policing Board. You may, therefore, wish to direct any query relating to offences reported to police, as detailed in your question, to the PSNI.
