Question:
To ask the Minister of Education whether he will increase the priority level applied to the minor works project to deliver a multi-purpose hall for St Francis' Primary, Drumaroad, to reflect that the modular unit housing the dining facility may need replaced.

Answer:

The minor works scheme at St Francis’ Primary School is currently considered a Priority Three scheme i.e. curriculum based minor works scheme.

Given the design work, vesting of land and planning approval required for this project, it is being progressed to pre-tender stage. These stages would be required regardless of the prioritisation of the scheme. A decision to release to tender will be taken based on the prioritisation and the budget available at that time.
