Question:
To ask the Minister of Health for an update on the timetable to introduce a Public Health Bill.

Answer:

The Department received approximately 8,200 submissions in response to the public consultation on policy proposals to inform the development of a new Public Health Bill for Northern Ireland. A draft consultation summary report is being prepared which I expect to publish on the Department’s website in the months ahead. A further update will be provided when the final summary report has been published.
