Question:
To ask the Minister of Finance to outline the timetable for the establishment of a permanent Public Service Transformation Board.

Answer:

I expect to agree the terms of reference for the Public Sector Transformation Board with the Secretary of State in the coming weeks. I also expect that these will largely reflect those previously agreed for the interim Board.

I also intend on supplementing the skills of the Public Sector Transformation Board through the inclusion of additional experts in the areas of ‘value for money’ and ‘data and science’.

I will be engaging with Executive colleagues on these issues, prior to formally agreeing the terms of reference with the Secretary of State.
