To ask the Minister of Education, pursuant to AQW 27098/22-27, if he will publish costings for the actions contained within the Special Educational Needs Reform Delivery Plan.

Answer:

The high level, estimated cost of full implementation of the Special Educational Needs (SEN) Reform Delivery Plan actions is £570m over 5 years, as stated in the published document.

Detailed costings for delivery of each action continue to be finessed through the development of implementation plans and through the business case process, in collaboration with key delivery partners, prioritising the actions to be delivered with the Public Sector Transformation funding secured. This working detail is not planned for publication; however, there will be full transparency and accountability on expenditure.
