Question:
To ask the Minister of Education to detail what funding has been allocated to the Belfast Wide Early Years pilot project for this financial year.

Answer:

Funding of £115k was allocated to the Belfast Wide Early Years (BWEY) pilot project for the period April to June 2025 which will ensure continuation of provision until the end of this academic year.

Any further funding decisions in relation to the BWEY pilot will be taken in consideration of the independent evaluation of it and of the actions detailed in the Special Educational Needs (SEN) Reform Agenda and associated Delivery Plan.
