Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure, pursuant to AQW 18399/22-27, whether she has given any consideration to (i) providing more robust cycling infrastructure in Upper Arthur Street, Belfast; and (ii) improving enforcement of damage to cycling infrastructure.

Answer:

My officials are currently considering future priority schemes within the Belfast Cycling Network and will consider the existing layout in Upper Arthur Street as part of that review.

Whilst my department will look to recover the costs of damage to any of its infrastructure, in practice this is can difficult and time consuming as the perpetrators are often not easily identified.
