Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure whether she has given any consideration to creating an online portal for the reporting of damaged cycling infrastructure.

Answer:

Currently the existing NI Direct public portal system caters for defects within the road and footpath network. Rather than creating a new online public portal solely dedicated to cycle ways and or greenways, it may be beneficial to install a damaged cycle way category option and/or drop-down bar within the existing NI Direct public portal system to report such a defect.

I have asked my officials to consider the introduction of such a category.
