To ask the Minister of Finance for an update on when the second religion question will be removed from the census in line with the rest of these islands.

Answer:

NISRA, which has responsibility for planning and delivering a census here, plans to consult with users in advance of the next census to identify their need for future statistics relating to population and housing. This will include development of census questions for 2031.
