Question:
To ask the Minister of Health how many child contact visits have been cancelled due to staffing availability in the (i) Bangor Child Contact Centre; and (ii) Ards Child Contact centre in the last three years.

Answer:

The South Eastern Trust, which has a Service Level Agreement in place with both Contact Centres, has advised that no contact visits have been cancelled due to staffing availability at either location.

The Centres are contracted for 48 sessions per annum, which have been delivered in each of the last 3 years with the exception of 2022/23 when a single session was cancelled due to the Bangor facility not being available.
