Question:
To ask the Minister of Education to detail the current status of all School Enhancement Programme applications in North Belfast.

Answer:

There are four School Enhancement Programme projects in various stages of design in the North Belfast constituency. The current status of each is as follows:

School Name	Current Status
St Malachy’s College	Design complete. Preparatory work ongoing to commence construction procurement.
Our Lady of Lourdes PS	RIBA Stage 4 (Technical Design) submission is under review by my Department’s technical advisors.
Cliftonville Controlled Integrated PS	In business case development.
Belfast Royal Academy	RIBA Stage 2 Concept Design underway.

Funding continues to be available to progress SEP projects through the design stages to pre-tender. A decision to release projects to tender for a contractor will be taken on a case-by-case basis, dependent on budget availability at that time.
