Question:
To ask the Minister of Education to detail the number of newcomer children recorded as absent from both primary and post-primary schools in the Ballymena area, on each day from Tuesday 10 June 2025 to Tuesday 17 June 2025.

Answer:

The department does not collect attendance data on a daily basis and therefore does not hold the information requested.

In conjunction with the Education Authority, my officials continue to liaise with schools in the local area to offer support to those impacted by the recent disorder.
