To ask the Minister of Education, pursuant to AQW 28567/22-27, to detail which projects will be funded from the £70m allocated to the SEN Capital Investment Programme in 2025-26.

Revised Answer:

The current profiled spend across the SEN Capital Investment Programme for 2025/26 is as detailed below, you will note that there is already a £4m pressure on this £70m:

£60m on over 400 minor works schemes in special schools and to provide additional specialist provision classes and pupil specific works in mainstream schools;

£10m across the existing 10 school enhancement projects in special schools;

£0.7m on the five projects for new build special schools;

£3.4m in furniture and equipment.
