Question:
To ask the Minister for the Economy to detail what discussions she has had with the Minister of Education to ensure the needs of employers are met through the school curriculum.

Answer:

Building on the 14-19 Framework, Ministers have agreed to establish a Cross-Departmental Ministerial Group. This group will ensure that the Department for the Economy and Department of Education work collaboratively to implement joint Ministerial priorities.

Additionally, my Department has contributed to the Department of Education’s Strategic Curriculum Review, led by Lucy Crehan.
