To ask the Minister for Communities to detail any measures he is considering to protect Personal Independence Payment claimants affected by the proposed changes to daily living criteria.

Answer:

During the second reading of the Universal Credit and Personal Independence Payment Bill in Parliament, the UK Government indicated that any future changes to the eligibility conditions for Personal Independence Payment will now be subject to the outcome of a review in relation to the assessment criteria.
