Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities to detail how the Supported Employment model based on the Supported Employment Quality Framework is being integrated into future strategies and action plans, in order to address the gap in the number of people with disabilities in the workplace compared to people without disabilities.

Answer:

A draft Disability and Work Strategy for Northern Ireland is currently with the Executive for consideration.

The draft Strategy proposes actions the support personal journeys towards, into and progressing in employment; and recognises the importance of the Supported Employment Model amongst a wider portfolio of employability support for disabled people.
