To ask the Minister for Communities what engagement has taken place with the voluntary and community sector in developing the Northern Ireland Community Infrastructure Fund.

Answer:

My officials have engaged with a range of organisations during the initial phase of development of the Northern Ireland Community Infrastructure Fund (NICIF) pilot scheme. This includes sectoral umbrella and membership organisations, funders, other NICS departments and officials involved in delivering comparable schemes elsewhere in the UK and Ireland.
