To ask the Minister of Health whether there are any vacancies for multiple sclerosis nurses in the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust.

Answer:

The South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust service for people with multiple sclerosis (MS) is supported by three specialist MS nursing staff.

All three posts are filled and there are no vacancies. However, the nursing cover for the MS service has been affected by periods of unplanned absence. There are currently two members of staff available to support the service.
