Question:
To ask the Minister of Finance, should the A5 allocation become available for redistribution, to detail the mechanisms which can be deployed to ensure the money is used in an effective and efficient way.

Answer:

The reallocation of any reduced requirements from the A5 scheme, should these arise, will be a matter for the Executive to consider and agree upon as part of both the in-year monitoring process and the wider Budget 2026–29 process, to ensure that any budget resources that do become available, are directed towards the Executive’s highest priority areas.
