Question:
To ask the Minister of Education for an update on the Education Authority's review of the Pupil Allocation Number process.

Answer:

The Education Authority (EA) has completed the review for the allocation of Pupil Admission Numbers (PAN) for non-statutory pre-school settings.

The EA report contains a number of recommended short-term; medium-term; and long-term actions to bring about improvement. The report is available here. My officials will continue to monitor the EA’s implementation of the actions set out in the report.
