To ask the Minister for Communities to detail the cut-off date by which capital money released through monitoring rounds can be efficiently and effectively spent on housing in this financial year.

Answer:

There is no firm cut-off date associated with funding confirmation, however, as you will know, it gets much more challenging to deliver programme outputs at short notice later in the year.

Ideally, the Social Housing Development program should be fully funded from the outset at the beginning of each financial year.
