To ask the Minister of Education to detail (i) the current number of referral cases on the Education Welfare Service waiting list; and (ii) the longest waiting time on the list.

The Education Authority has advised that as of 04 September 2025 there are 355 unallocated cases. These are broken down as follows: Time on waiting list | Number of cases | Band A 0-2 weeks | 275 | Band B 3-12 weeks | 53 | Band C 13-36 weeks | 11 | Band D 37-60 weeks | 7 | Band E 60+ weeks | 9 |
