To ask the Minister of Health, pursuant to AQW 29230/22-27, whether the review of the population health needs of children attending special educational needs schools will address nursing provision in special schools.

Answer:

An assessment of nursing provision in Special Schools forms a key element of the review.

I expect the PHA report to be finalised and provided to me shortly, and that it will include recommendations to support decisions around how to best meet the population health needs of this cohort of children, ensuring child-specific timely care.
