To ask the Minister for Infrastructure to outline the timetable for the publication of the new Transport Strategy 2035.

Answer:

The draft Transport Strategy has been launched for public consultation.

This Strategy is the beginning of a bold and necessary journey to ensure that our transportation system meets the demands of tomorrow, while reflecting the values and priorities of our community today.

The public consultation is an important first step and feedback is welcomed during this consultation period to help shape a transport system that works for all and safeguards the environment for future generations. All responses will be reviewed alongside all other consultations before the Transport Strategy is finalised.

Publication will therefore be dictated by the level and scale of engagement responses.
