Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure to outline any engagement she intends to have with residents and businesses in Ballykelly, as part of the development of the (i) Transport Strategy 2035; and (ii) Transport Plan.

Answer:

The draft Transport Strategy was launched for public consultation on 24 June 2025 and is currently open for public consultation. The public consultation is an important first step and officials welcome feedback during this consultation period to help shape a transport system that works for all and safeguards the environment for future generations.

Public engagement on the vision and objectives of the North West Transport Plan was carried out from 27 August 2024 to 5 November 2024. Further engagement will be carried out during the development of the Plan.
