To ask the Minister for Communities to detail whether his Department has explored the feasibility of a joined-up, invest-to-save approach to mobility support for older disabled people, to reduce long-term demand on health and social care services.

Answer:

My Department has not explored the feasibility of a joined-up, invest-to-save approach to mobility support for older disabled people. Both the Department of Health and the Department for Infrastructure offer schemes that may assist older disabled people in accessing appointments and activities.
