To ask the Minister of Health, pursuant to AQW 29334/22-27, to provide an update on the review of funding provided by his Department to support students on pre-registration healthcare programmes.

Answer:

My Department’s review of the funding arrangements for both commissioned, and non-commissioned, tertiary level courses which lead to careers within the HSC is ongoing. This review will help inform the development of options for a public consultation which I hope to launch later this year.
