To ask the Minister of Education to detail the impact that the Partnership Agreement between Government and the Voluntary and Community Sector will have on his Department.

Answer:

The ‘Partnership Agreement between Government and the Voluntary and Community Sector’ provides an important framework for collaboration between departments and the sector. It emphasises the value of the sector’s contribution to policy and service delivery while outlining principles to ensure that engagement with and funding for the sector are fair, proportionate and focussed on outcomes.

My department will continue to work constructively with voluntary and community partners in the best interests of all children, young people and their families.
