Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure for an update on the road adoption process for Bracken Hill Drive, South Belfast.

Answer:

Bracken Hill Drive, Belfast is a private development site being developed by Dermont No.2 LLP Ltd. The planning approved development is approved under reference Y/2013/0030/F.

The works are incomplete due to defective traffic calming measures and outstanding geotechnical and Vehicle Restraint System certifications. The responsibility for completion of the works lies with the developer at this time.

My department will continue to engage with Dermont No.2 LLP Ltd to achieve a resolution for residents, whereby the developer fulfils their obligation to provide adoptable standards for Bracken Hill Drive.
