Question:
To ask the Minister of Education to detail any plans he has to review the Common Funding Scheme.


Answer:
On 3 July I announced the appointment of an independent panel to undertake the Review of Baseline School Funding Provided Through the Common Funding Formula.
In accordance with the Terms of Reference, the panel formally notified the Education Committee of the review in late July, by correspondence to the Clerk of the Committee.
The Panel has been asked to conclude its work by Halloween 2025 and provide a report to me shortly thereafter.
