Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister to detail any plans they have to coordinate cross-departmental engagement to deliver cross-cutting legislation on post-19 special educational needs provision.

Answer:

The Executive considered and agreed recommendations arising from a review on post-school provision for young people with special educational needs and has asked for quarterly reports to be provided on progress by each stakeholder department. This will include updates on the legislative provision to give effect to the proposed programme of reforms on the issue announced recently by the Minister for the Economy.
