To ask the Minister of Education whether all school meals, transported by bus or taxi, are contained in appropriate transport boxes that comply with Food Standards Agency requirements.

Revised Answer:

My Officials and I are continuing to engage with key stakeholders and carry out research on the phased review of taxi policy and legislation. Officials are planning on having an options paper, on potential changes, for me to consider by the end of the year and a full consultation on any proposed changes should be published in early 2026.
