Question:
To ask the Minister of Education to detail (i) what surveys are being distributed to capture data for the Special Educational Needs Disability Reform Agenda Outcomes Framework 2025-2030; and (ii) when are they due to be sent out.

Answer:

My department is currently developing a range of surveys, supported by a NISRA statistician, to capture baseline data for the Special Educational Needs (SEN) Reform Agenda Outcomes Framework. These surveys will gather a range of data which is not currently captured elsewhere from parents, schools, services and children and young people.

Fieldwork is expected to begin during Autumn 2025.
