Question:
To ask the Minister of Education to outline (i) how Operation Encompass is being evaluated; and (ii) the measures in place to assess its effectiveness.

Answer:

The Operation Encompass response is undertaken by the PSNI. My department has no role in assessing its overall effectiveness

Officials will, however, be commissioning an independent evaluation of the Education Authority role in supporting schools who receive an Operation Encompass referral during this academic year.
