Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure for an update on when the weight limit proposal for heavy goods vehicles in Royal Hillsborough will be published.

Answer:

An assessment of the suitability of alternative routes following a request for a weight limit restriction to be introduced in the whole village, including Carnreagh, has been commissioned.

This work is nearing completion and officials will finalise the report in late November. I would hope to be in a position to provide a further update in December 2025.
