Question:
To ask the Minister for the Economy for an update on the re-establishment of the entrepreneurship co-design group.

Answer:

I have established the SME Entrepreneurship Co-design Group to bring together entrepreneurs, academics and policymakers to explore how we can better support and grow the north of Ireland’s enterprise culture, especially among small and micro businesses.

This group is about listening to those with lived experience of starting and scaling businesses and working together to shape practical actions that make entrepreneurship more accessible and sustainable across all parts of our economy.

The group held its first meeting in September 2025 and are working to develop an action plan which will be published next year.
