Question:
To ask the Minister of Education to detail whether the Department consulted with the Education Authority on what special educational needs and disabilities projects were included in the Public Sector Transformation bid.

Answer:

The projects within my department’s Public Sector Transformation bid were informed by the department and the Education Authority (EA) jointly led End to End (E2E) Review of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and drawn directly from the resulting SEN Reform Delivery Plan. A wide range of stakeholders and delivery partners, including the EA, were involved in this process.

My department and the EA are working in partnership to implement the projects funded by the Public Sector Transformation Board (PSTB) and are fully committed to delivering on my wider SEN Reform agenda.
