To ask the Minister of Education to detail (i) an update on the Request for Involvement Portal used by special educational needs coordinators; and (ii) whether this portal is being used on a temporary basis.

Answer:

The Request for Involvement Portal closed on 16th May and then reopened on 15th September.

Yes, the RFI portal has always been designed to be an interim solution until the enduring EdIS case management system has been developed and implemented.
