Question:
To ask the Minister of Education to detail the rationale for not including education otherwise than at school, as part of the new Local Impact Teams model.

Answer:

The Education Authority has a statutory obligation to provide education otherwise than at School (EOTAS) in centres for full-time and part-time provision, which extends beyond the support that can be provided by a Local Impact Team (LIT). For those attending mainstream school and part-time EOTAS provision, they can access Social, Behavioural, Emotional and Well-being support through the LIT outreach service.
