Question:
To ask the Minister of Education to detail the rationale for not including nurture provision as part of the new Local IMPACT Teams model.

Answer:

‘Nuture’ is only available to a specific group of settings, has a specific intervention model and is delivered by a relatively small specialist team. In order to maintain fidelity to that delivery model it is not included in the Local IMPACT Teams (LITs). If Nurture is mainstreamed in future, then LITs would potentially be the structure to use.
