Question:
To ask the Minister of Finance to detail when he plans to publish consultations relating to (i) Small Business Rate Relief; and (ii) Non-Domestic Vacant Rating.

Answer:

The Strategic Review of Rates for Small Business Rate Relief and Non-domestic Vacant Rating have now been completed. During the Review my officials carried out research, taxbase analysis, extensive engagement with key stakeholders and councils, along with a related business survey.

I am currently reviewing the results of both Reviews after which I will provide an update to the Assembly, including on the timing of any consultation work.
