To ask the Minister of Education to outline how green roof projects could be linked to the curriculum, in science and geography.

Answer:

There are already many opportunities within the curriculum to explore topics related to green growth and sustainability through science and geography. These subjects cover topics such as ecosystems, climate change, and sustainable development.

The Council for Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment’s Sustainable Futures resources also provide structured guidance and progression frameworks to support teaching sustainability from Foundation Stage to Key Stage 3.
