To ask the Minister of Education to detail any consideration given to amalgamating the various referral portals used by special educational needs coordinators.

Answer:

The EA has advised:

The Request for Involvement portal amalgamated previous referral routes across Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Pupil Support Services as a single point of entry.

The Request for Statutory Assessment Portal is currently hosted on an external platform but will move to EA Connect in the second term of this academic year.
