Question:
To ask the Minister of Education, pursuant to AQW 31697/22-27, to detail whether he will consider notifying schools as soon as possible, after receiving his 2026-27 budget, the amount of funding that will be provided for summer schemes in special schools.

Answer:

I fully recognise the importance of providing clarity to schools in relation to this matter, and it is my intention to do this at the earliest practicable opportunity, following confirmation by the Northern Ireland Executive of the 2026-27 Education budget.
