Question:
To ask the Minister of Education, pursuant to AQW 30778/22-27, to detail whether he has set a target date for the completion of Local Development Plans, by the new councils established in 2015.

Answer:

No target has been set by my department for the completion of Local Development Plans by councils. Councils set their own timetables for the preparation of their plans, taking into consideration their own resourcing, evidence gathering etc, and these are forwarded to my Department for agreement.
