Question:
To ask the Minister of Health to outline whether his Department has considered introducing a women's health commissioner.

Answer:

I am aware that Women’s Health Ambassadors / Champions have been appointed in other jurisdictions and acknowledge the important role they play in raising the profile of women’s health. Given the ongoing budget constraints faced by my Department there are no current plans to introduce a Women’s Health Commissioner for Northern Ireland.
